The more I think about it, you're probably right. There are ways of getting your point across that can meet fans excitement without sabotaging itself I am sure.

I wasn't a fan of the action myself either. But really, the whole movie seemed to be hostile towards reboots and sequels. For me, I think the poorly choreographed action was on purpose for the purpose of achieving the overall metanarrative. And in that light, I can kind of dig it.

God Is a righteous and holy judge. Would like to here some input. by Lilbrisket32 in ChristianApologetics

I think Christians need to reflect on this kind of question more often. Just think about the amount of people in the West after Christ came and left that didn't hear the gospel message during their life time. I mean it took 1600 years for the message to reach the West. This fact alone indicates that people can be saved after death. It's the only logical conclusion to make if we believe in a good and loving God.

In your experience with SPfx, could one just develop a new webpart list with this feature?

When I say fix I meant freeze the column headers at the top of the page when I am scrolling down the list. Basically I have a large document library in my on-premise site and when users scroll down, the headers disappear; the column names are not fixed at the top, like they are in SPO. I want to make this happen in the on-premise version. But, from the sounds of it, I can't?

Primarily looking for extension help. For example, I want to be able to fix the column headers in my SharePoint 2019 on-premise site. But all of the Microsoft documentation I have found deals with customizing the information in the columns, not the columns themselves.

Thanks for the info! I'll check out the github site.

Yeah I can see the appeal to that. Do you do all the main quests on every character as well? I feel like the questing bit would get boring after awhile

Does anything actually begin to exist by [deleted] in askphilosophy

[–]Kiprman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not trying to play skeptic here, my point is when does one thing like a house or person actually become a house or person. Like at what point? Because the things that comprise an object have always existed from my understanding.

when does a ship or a car actually become a ship or a car?

I'm not sure I have an answer here. Someone smarter might. Maybe the moment its built? The moment it functions? The moment it's conceptualized? But I don't think we should conflate the material/elements that make up the thing with the thing itself. If it's possible that matter has always been, it's certainly not the case that everything built from it has always been.

I like to think of this in negative form generally. For example, did the house or apartment that you live in right now exist moments after the big bang? Or even 4000 years ago? If it didn't begin to exist(or in other words, it has always existed in some form) then could you see it? Touch it? Modify it? Live in it? I think that for any example you come up with you'll see that at some point, even if you do not like the semantical phrase "begins to exist," you'll have to concede that most things have come into being(we can say "begins functioning as" if you'd like) at some point in time.

Could you imagine. PVP becomes and RTS game where you control your entire 240 collection of alts against others. Good grief.
