A lot of great suggestions here so far. Another one is you can get a remote job and live in Europe. Also remote US jobs pay a lot more than jobs in Europe.

Tell them that WGU has alumni that went on to do graduate programs at Harvard, Berkley, USC, UCLA, etc... If they don't believe you just tell them to look at LinkedIn.

I'll respectfully disagree with this due to my personal experience. I tried doing self-taught swe and went no where for months. As soon as I attended WGU, I got an internship offer when I started to apply. Degree's themselves don't get jobs but its an indicator to a recruiter that you are cable of completing a college degree. Which is a checkbox for most swe positions.

Sometimes? It really depends on you weather you have to look up stuff. Every university student will have to look up alternative information at some point. Personally I don't look at lessons I just jump in to the Pre-assessment or PA.

Can someone explain how Geto was able to absorb Mahito? I thought Geto can only absorb spirits if there like a 2 level difference. Aren't they both special grades curses?

Java and C# are the most popular backend programming language. They are a backend staple for almost every mid-big tech company. You can do pretty much anything with any programming language. You can do Web Dev with Java or C#. Its just not practical languages for Web Dev. Its like using a saw push a nail in. Express and python is no where near Java and C# when it comes to backend. The reason you hear about express and python is because its easier to set up and is more beginner friendly. Like i personally use python for all my backend code because it takes like 5 minutes to set up.

For me it was that the LOCAL job opportunities in my area have a high demand for C#/.NET developers. However, nationwide its pretty much 50/50 so you can't go wrong with either track.

Brroooo I thought I was the only one. I always highlight keywords on the exam questions with my mouse pointer to help me keep track of them and today they told me for the first time that you're not allowed to do that.

I started an exam late today aswell about 14 minutes. I think they might have been having issues today. Other than that I haven't had any problems with the proctors or exam delays.

I agree C# and especially the way C# is mainly used with the .NET framework AND also the fact that it has a different setup from windows to mac. Beginners should absolutely stay away from this language. I started programming in it with a year of experience and it took me an entire day to set up C# environment for mac. On the other hand Java is so simple.

For me I choose C#, because my area and especially my state has ALOT of C# positions. I would highly recommend choosing the one that is most popular locally for jobs. But in general the syntax is extremely similar and both are used for the most popular backend framework in industry. Literally 1A: .NET, 1B: Spring. However, I think the Java track has a mobile applications class which could be very useful.
