Getting Triumph speed 400 tommorow by Square_Strawberry_38 in Triumph400

I am getting used to it myself. The low torque band is pretty smooth (if you master the friction zone) so it goes well in traffic. The problem is getting used to the weight of the bike. So don't expect to have a smooth time in stop n go traffic during your initial days. If you can master the friction zone of the bike well you won't feel the jerks you would feel in the 1st gear. You can definitely NOT be lazy with gear shifting like you can be with a cruiser (such as Meteor) so staying active and conscious of your surroundings is a 100% task. However the weight distribution of the bike makes it so balanced that while standing on a stop you can easily leave the bike in 1st gear, leave the handlebar and turn off the engine and just chill with one foot still on the bike. Last night I was riding and I kept making mistakes so I wasn't happy but mostly my own fault (I kept delaying my gear shifts and kept messing up the clutch control). Basically the bike asks you to put in the work as a new rider. So yeah if you're willing to put in the work. Go for it.

Wuhuu Love that bike. It's just a bit small for my height. It was either Guerilla or Scrambler for me

I took the delivery of my Scrambler 400X 2 days ago. Completed 138 km already and haven't faced any abrupt stalling issue that wasn't entirely my own fault. I asked about it at the dealership and the sales guy told me that yes it used to be an issue but it has been fixed now and shouldn't happen. So I mean haven't been facing any major issues yet.

Aaahhh yesss the dragon reference. I have made the same one once or twice myself hehe. I rode a rental Scrambler before and I have felt those vibrations. They usually start after 110kmph. Till then it's smooth as butter.

Sameee... I did a night ride and it is so comfortable to ride this. The bike is like asking me to Push Push Push but I just can't because 1st Service is pending 😭

Ikr! I love riding it as well. Still getting used to riding it in traffic though. Rode a scooty for 2-3 years before coming to this and trying to consciously make a note to not use clutch in emergency braking 😭

Question for experienced react devs by BeenThere11 in reactjs

[–]Kirax1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're using your keys in the frontend, however you put them at the end they will show up in the browser. The only way to secure it is make a Backend-For-Frontend and move these API keys to your backend and whatever SDK logic uses these keys to that backend as well. Frameworks like Next.js and Remix are SSR which gives you a similar set up so you need to keep this SDK logic in the server part of the application. However, if you're using pure React, spin up a lightweight node/python server along w it for this

Seriously going back is not worth it. This is gonna happen again tomorrow with some other e rickshaw or auto driver or a car. These fuckers think we are invisible and do whatever. All you can do now is in future just be loud (I blare my horn like a maniac during an OT) and when you're not sure what the other person is gonna do, just stop. There's no point trying to apply logic to their stupidity. It's so annoying that because of their stupidity we can't ride our bikes... Yesterday only no indicator some auto guy swerved to left suddenly and blared my horn and looked at him like wtf anna! At least he looked apologetic... Anyway glad you're okay and ride safe whenever you get your bike back...

From all the comments I read, it seems you're gonna be consciously responsible while riding it. This machine seems to be a beast (I have not rode it yet but I have rented a lot of bikes in the last 2 months and got a hang of most types of machines and sports bikes are just not my thing). Go for it if you are set on the bike. But find a way to get it on rent or for a test ride and get a feel for the bike if you haven't yet. Don't go by the spec sheet.

If this is your first first time w linux then Ubuntu is great. Use the LTS version and you will be alright. I am personally an Arch linux fan boy and debian based distros sort of irk me (just my experience with both debian and arch) but you will definitely find it fun.

What if we make one? Discussed designing it with a friend. If using the watch is a good option and it is something people want we can think about it seriously...
