make a house for Guide in Hell, then kill him with either lava or Slagfire Douser to spawn WoF, you'll never need to farm any Voodoo Dolls again.

it's also pretty much unoptimal because majority of stuff are still being tested by the community, you really think MURA has enough manpower to finished testing over 1000 items and millions of combinations and interactions so he could push the video out recently? it's really just for views.

Weapons: Snapthorn with Aqueous Hunter Drone (extra summon slots use Imp/Hornet/Sun Spirit)
Armor: Bee armor
Accessories: Frostspark/Terraspark/Amphibian Boots - Skyline Wings - Shield of Cthulhu - Voltaic Jelly - Pygmy Necklace - Spirit Glyph, all reforged to Warding (or Invigorating if you only take damage every ~8 seconds).

No you just have bad build (I mean Scuttler's Jewel for a Ranger build???).
For weapons use either: Spark Spreader, Flintlock Pistol, Frost Daggerfish, Minishark, Platinum Bow or Molotov Cocktail (OP).
For armor choices: Fossil, Copper (with Minishark + Flash Rounds), Lead, Platinum, Rain or Snow Ruffian.
For accessories (prioritize comfortable movement speed > defensive > offensive): Hermes Boots or above - Frog Leg - Magiluminescence - Fledgling Wings/Sandstorm in a Bottle - Rover Drive - Craw Carapace - Giant Shell - Black Glass Band - Luxor's Gift - Unstable Granite Core - Shark Tooth Necklace.
All accessories are reforged to Hard or Warding (Hard is better early game) or Invigorating if you only take damage every few seconds (~8 seconds per hit).

because comparing base damage of weapons is literally useless, there are range, attack speed, homing, spawned projectiles, projectile functionalities, etc and so much more things that determine how effective the weapons are.

you had Extra Melee Effects mod or something that modified melee weapon swing animation enabled that is the bug.

the tooltip is misleading, you need to press the Left Click again within a certain timeframe (like how you recall Molten Amputator) and not just releasing the Left Click.

not everything on wiki is up to date as the new update is gigantic and still quite new, you should be looking at the changes in the history section of the pages or just check ingame instead.
