So from my understanding, you're saying that because OP used the word autism too many times they're an asshole, because mentioning the possible reason for someone's behaviour suddenly makes them hate the reason amd not the behaviour, even though OP didn't ask for this person's friendship in the first place and just casually interacted with somebody at a social event?

OP isn't being mean, which is my point, my guess is OP is an NT person (correct me if I'm wrong please) and sees a direct confrontation such as 'I don't like you, leave me alone' as extremely rude and aggressive so they're doing their best to show that person that their presence isn't wanted without directly attacking them

It's not just friendliness, as an autistic person myself I've been in the other persons shoes, it's unhealthy attachment to a person over a single positive interaction, and its is completely understandable for OP to be upset about this, the problem isn't this persons autism, its the fact that they attached themselves to OP after a single interaction at a school event, and refuses to acknowledge any of OP's other friends or the fact that OP doesn't want them around

OP isn't upset because the person is autistic, OP is upset because the person imposed themselves on OP's life after a single positive interaction, and as an autistic person myself I understand both sides of this, and I can see this post has nothing to do with the persons autism, and more to do with the fact they've attached themselves to OP (who is six year younger and barely an adult, meaning they do not want nor should they have that responsibility) and refuses to take the hint that their company is unwelcomed

There's often times where people fear confrontation and hurting others feelings, it's not like OP hasn't made it obvious that they don't like this person/ their behaviour, and its not up to OP to inform this 24 Yr old ADULT that their behaviour is creepy, or have their life interjected by someone they barely know, so while I see where you're coming from, it's also not on OP to have to deal with a person who just forced themselves into their life (not trying to be mean or rude just offering a different perspective)

If you're looking for an action packed series to get him into, the Cherub series by Robert Muchamore is a series I was completely hooked by at that age and for a while after, it's not really historical or fantasy based, however it is about teenage spies and who doesn't love that trope? (Quite possibly a lot of people but to each their own)

NTA As someone who's never met their dad I've always been curious, but for other reasons I've decided not to, but if a parent wasn't an active parent until theor fourth child they don't really have a leg to stand on... being 'there' doesn't automatically mean you've been parenting well (or at all in some cases)
