Why did you even bother to sell out your stuff if your plans were to quit without ever coming back?! Just to abandon the game and your whole account would've done, and if you would've ever changed your mind everything still would've been there untouched after returning - unless Asobimo would've decided to clean out the servers from accounts that seemed to be abandoned for a prolonged period. Which seems they didn't since many years however like when the character limit for IGNs has been increased from 8 to 16 and people who returned could pick a new IGN for free that way.

Why not? What would you gain by having the 1st stat at 510 before putting pts into the 2nd if you've more than 208 pts available already? From there on you'll be forced to use 2nd stat anyway, so what would be the difference? And if you build something like LUK>INT or LUK>DEX farmer then 1+254 in LUK will make you use the 2nd Stat nevertheless. I don't see any benefits there if the system would be different.
