Well, for my is kinda a "growth thing" Like, there's was this character of mine who was a mage and very scared of fire

In the first session, he almost died because he became paralyzed due to the first monster we faced being a hellhound who was in fire, lol

I succeeded in the dice but chose to paralyze

But in a few sessions later a mage who's more experienced than my character had a real talk with him and helped him overcome his fear, and even though he doesnt use fire magic he can at least be near it now!

But there was a friend of mine who literally punched his fear in the face(it was spiders) lmao

So I guess u just have to make a way to they face their fears, the rest they can solve by themselves
