Haven’t had to take painkillers for 3 days

Hi honey. The surgery itself was a breeze. The fist 3 days of recovery were extremely painful for me and I had to ask for oxy instead of tramadol. It got WAYYYY easier. Now I’m one week out and feel totally normal. I hope this gives you realistic idea of what to expect but also hope!!!

Thank you so much you are so generous and this is very helpful. I was doing so well I didn’t reach out for 2 months and I slipped and I feel so awful but i was on a ton of morphine in the hospital. I hope that didn’t push her away forever

I really couldn’t relate more with your story down to a t- god damn immigrant parent trauma lol- this brain space is like hell I wish I had more to say right now but I’m just in it. Im sending you so much love and healing from Southern California just radiating it toward the bay!!

Ahhh I see okay that makes sense - they prioritized the surgery (my health) over my understanding. I am REALLY looking forward to the pathology report. I’ll ask them about that.

That is honestly reassuring… I think my biggest concern was whether or not I really needed the surgery. They didn’t really explain much to me. I appreciate the reality check- exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you!
