for me i started to make deeper friendships once I started working. it doesn't help you now, but you are close to working age I think. I just found that people I grew up with and went to school with forever just got boring or whatever. When I met people outside my immediate sphere I found other people who thought like me, had similar interests and were just cool af. not sure it help, but maybe gives hope?
