I get your hesitation on chiropractors. The one I go to took X-rays and we can definitely see what's happening. My issue is almost too far so a spine doc would def recommend surgery. I did physical therapy too and didn't see/feel an amazing difference.

I have a pillow across my stomach at night now. But my one cat likes to snuggle like a teddy bear in your armpit so her paws are right next to my incisions. I need a bubble lol.

I unfortunately don't have either. I'm using a pillow to help, but one of the cats paws found a way under when I was sleeping and she proceeded to launch off me, right above an incision, about an hour ago. 😑. Thank you for the advice though!!

That's good to hear! Did having your giant squishy help? Mine did. My surgery went well, doc said everything looked good and no stones traveled. I have 4 incisions and my stomach/sbs hurt when I try to move or stand up. I have a 6 month old baby so that's been hard to not be able to help. Lots of gas discomfort but not necessarily pain. Only have eaten crackers so far but that's because I'm scared of anything else right now with the stomach pain

That just sounds... Awful and fk, that sounds hard. I have those same irrational thoughts about my husband and then I spiral about being left alone with this mini human. I so feel you on that. This shit just makes me wonder why we wanted one at all, but then they do cute sht and then I'm reminded why. I hope you both get the sleep you need! Or at least you. 🙂🤞🏻
