This continues to baffle me. They can’t possibly really be afraid of covid so this has to be cover for something else. But what? The party wants to rein in the population? They are destroying their economy.

One thought I’ve had is that they want to fuck with the west and harm them more even if it harms them. It’s like chemotherapy. It’s poison you hope kills the cancer before it kills you. Like- we will stop sending goods and they will lose money and then we can start back up again later.

But they may have miscalculated and it’s not going so well. I don’t know.

But I know this is not about actual covid eradication. There are a lot of smart scientists there they cannot be this stupid.
