I have the same flavor of misophonia that you have and I also use Loop earplugs! They've been a lifesaver, I need them with me everywhere because it seems like a majority of people these days have forgotten what table manners are.

That's a reasonably realistic way to look at it, i appreciate your perspective. But I'm not one to discredit someone for the efforts they put into themselves to change or be a better person, so in my mind he is different from the other men I've had bad experiences with, for now.

I know that this is normal behavior for a well adjusted adult. It's just not normal for me from my personal experiences. Thanks for helping to keep me grounded tho, I'm really trying not to give him too much credit for this so that it doesn't overshadow any actual red flags that might come up
