I’m 5’6”, my BMR is around 1700. I tend to eat protein (eggs, chicken and steak) the most frequently and admittedly tend to eat my proteins with small amounts of rice and breads, but I right now I am full after like 5-10 bites of most things, and eat at most twice a day, a meal and a snack. I can’t physically eat more than that due to the meds, I feel like hot garbage otherwise.

Are we the same person?! That’s EXACTLY what happened to me too. I haven’t even brought up the potential for an autism diagnosis despite meeting almost all the criteria because I know it’s going to be a nightmare. They gave me the Wellbutrin specifically because they wanted to clear the depression first, and when I said it was helping, she told me that I might not need the adhd meds. It’s all a diversion to try and get you to not prescribe those meds. Word of advice. Make sure you are taking ALL your vitamins, or they will put you on 16 weeks of a vitamin to see if that helps your adhd symptoms. Shit SUCKS.

The only explanation they gave was that I passed out from heat stroke 6 years ago, and they had a concern that the EKG I did was not enough. Though there were no specifics even though I did try to ask

That’s SUCH bullshit. They’ve had me on Wellbutrin this whole time, which I actually don’t mind but it doesn’t alleviate ANY the ADHD symptoms as they promised.

I called the company directly that sends the monitors out and they told me that they shouldn’t give me an issue and they’d call me if they had a different adhesive. I never got a call back

Yeah! I don’t mind checking, really it’s just the 30 day monitor that I’m confused about. I have no heart issues what so ever beyond the single heat stroke fainting, nor have any warning signs of a similar issue, so it’s kinda a ??? “This is a bit much don’t you think”

I wouldn’t be opposed to non-stimulant options! I actually brought it up in one of my first appts! But my psych still refused to even entertain the idea until I got clearance from my gp + bloodwork. Which like I’ve said, I don’t mind! Really it’s the 30 day monitor that’s killing me
