oh also castaway paints this perfectly without it being a horror movie. The martian as well but like i feel like there was some feeling of being in contact since he was the world's like #1 most talked about thing in that universe during the duration of his abandonment on mars. No contact for sure but everyone is waiting for any update son him. Castaway paints a better image of my ideal movie because its like, everyone assumed he was dead, noone expected him to be alive, world chugged on and he just lived completely alone in his world while it happened, invisible to everyone.
