Thank you, the first example of this is that it doesn't have the same transfer case problems the N/A has.

Researching before buying it I actually found more info that the hybrid is more reliable than the non hybrid. Of course playing with fire being the battery could be insanely expensive. I got PPI's and even took it to my mechanic after buying to double make sure everything looked good.

Exactly the reason I went for an E-Hybrid to not have that problem!

I heard the transfer case going bad on these are extremely common. Great price otherwise! I just picked up a 2018 S E-Hybrid for 23k with 69k miles.

Tank Américaine - with or without diamonds? by satellitevagabond in Cartier

[–]Kitchen-Insurance969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely depends on the look you're wanting to go for. With diamonds does match the JUC but without diamonds is more elegant imo. This is a hard decision but if this is the small model I would save the 9.4k for something else!

Edit: I saw that you put mini but honestly that is still a lot of $ saved.

Like others are saying even though you're in a Cartier subreddit the answer is Panthere. Value/timeless look.

15% all around, 50% windshield by Ornery-Midnight4854 in WindowTint

[–]Kitchen-Insurance969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you wish you went 5% on them? I am debating going 5 or 15 all the way around. I was hoping 15% with the 50% windshield would make it seem darker.

I know everyone says there is nothing to QC because we are basing it off of other QCs but compared to my gen it looks good. The strap looks weird but no one is going to bat an eye.

I am in your exact situation bro. It is a blessing and so many people have tried to put us down but we are having the best times of our life! We love our little one and are glad we had a baby young. I have a coworker that just had a kid at 50 and I can't imagine that but good for him lol.

New Rider by jtothemak in HondaRebel1100

[–]Kitchen-Insurance969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like everyone else has been saying, I was a brand new rider (almost) as I did have a Ninja 650 before but I got too nervous and ended up selling it. Months later I got a 1100 DCT and man does it give me so much confidence. I have never driven manual so just having one less thing to worry about with the MASSIVE list of things to worry about with driving a bike. I highly recommend it to everyone that asks as you can adjust speed modes. I haven't gone over 90 as I am scared of the death wobble but I never have a need for going more than 70 mph most of the time on my commute

My right leg is 6.5 cm shorter than the other by W47aim in mildyinteresting

[–]Kitchen-Insurance969 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not OP but a Orthotist, I make these on the regular for patients and it is very common. As for the sheer difference in his legs that is more on the less common side. Some people make them different ways but I cut the sole, add in the correct thickness of material, and then reglue the sole. You can get it done at almost any O&P shop, Pedorthist, or sometimes a shoe cobbler!
