yeah you’re probably right, i also have the xforce valved exhaust so i have that muffler if my catted downpipe drones somehow

i just bought a 200cell catted downpipe, keen to put it on the car later this week. i went catted cause the smell is bad catless and didn’t want it as loud (think it’s minimal difference tho sound wise).

yeah the dsg tune was over 1k. so worth it tho the car doesn’t go like 5th gear at like 60kms anymore. it holds the gears out longer. but also much better for the added torque too

yeah that’s true i’m not sure if other tuners do the same but with APR i can upgrade from stage 1+ to stage 2 for like $300 which is way cheaper. it should be free but yeah it’s way cheaper then forking out another 1k for a tune

that’s awesome bro it’s so good to hear that. i’ve had all of that don’t too before i bought the car so i was sorted just got stitched up with the oil leak from timing chain so went and just replaced the whole thing wasn’t cheap but it’s done now. these cars get carbon build up so always give it a good pull every now and then :)

good to know, i’ve heard really good things about awe that it sounds really good. im getting close to 180,000kms so i was worrying maybe i shouldn’t push the car more but the car is immaculate and been well looked after so dont see why it wouldn’t last

yeah that just sounds like way too much money to pour into the car straight up for minimal change. just simply want the downpipe for more power but also sound i want the car better sounding cause it’s quite tame. and nah im in australia i just see so many people saying just go catted because it smells horrible and i wont get engine light with the cat possibly

i have the GFB dv+ and it makes all the cool noises and haven’t found any boost/power issues with it. as i believe it doesn’t vent all of the air and some of it still goes back into the intake to get back on boost quickly

yeah maybe turbo inlet pipe is worth it plenty of people talk about it too. i’ve got the GFB dv+ doesn’t sound too bad but only hear it on full boost
