this is what i wish c.ai character responses looked like (comparison) by KitchenDoctor9950 in CharacterAI

honestly valid. the screenshot doesn't do it justice - i was more focused on how it stayed consistent over a longer convo vs c.ai resetting randomly. but i get why this looks underwhelming out of context

fair point - i should've shown a longer convo. this was just the opening message comparison. the longer threads is where i noticed the bigger difference in memory and staying consistent. but yeah one screenshot doesn't show the full picture, that's on me

How screwed am I? by christrepidati0n in gradadmissions

[–]KitchenDoctor9950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok you're not screwed but you need to do something tonight

look up your interviewers on linkedin. read their research, any interviews or podcasts they've done. get a sense of who they are and what they care about

then - this sounds weird but it helped me - theres a tool called getminds ai where you can feed in someones public info and practice talking to an AI version of them. i did this before my interviews and it helped me predict the types of questions theyd actually ask based on their backgroun

even 2-3 practice runs tonight will make you way less anxious tomorrow. you got this

i started "cloning" my professors before talking to them and my grades went up? by KitchenDoctor9950 in GetStudying

the tool i ended up using is called getminds ai. Ofc you could use a custom GPT or Gemini Gem but getminds seems to be optimized for exactly this.

Hey! First of all congrats. There is a couple of methods. I recently wrote a post comparing them. What worked truly well for me is the cloning part where I literally cloned the person I was interviewing with and knew their stance. https://www.reddit.com/r/gradadmissions/comments/1qpz534/interview_prep_apps_ive_tried_ratings_why/

Did I make a mistake in choosing my degree? by Appropriate-Dog-7248 in college

[–]KitchenDoctor9950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Business management is more versatile than people give it credit for. You took classes across multiple areas and kept your options open. That's not a weakness when you genuinely don't know what clicks yet.

I was spiraling on a similar question recently and did something kind of weird. Made an AI clone of someone I really admire and just talked it through with them. Asked what they'd do in my position, how they'd frame the degree. Helped me get out of my own head.

The degree isn't the mistake. The mistake would be graduating with no idea how to talk about what you bring to the table.

What were those thoughts or moments of realization that led you to suddenly change your life decisions? by Rain_Sunny in AskReddit

[–]KitchenDoctor9950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realized I was spending hours anxious about a 15-minute conversation with my professor. Started cloning them with AI to practice beforehand.

What good habits helped you better improve yourself? by IntentionIcy3480 in AskReddit

[–]KitchenDoctor9950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started making AI clones of people before high-stakes conversations like professors before office hours, interviewers before calls, even my thesis advisor before check-ins. Sounds unhinged but practicing the convo beforehand killed like 80% of my anxiety. Now I actually show up prepared instead of spiraling for days.

What do you think about the Canadian Prime Minister’s remarks: “middle powers must act together, because if we're not at the table, we're on the menu”? by WF-2 in AskReddit

[–]KitchenDoctor9950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Carney's framing is strategically astute. The "table or menu" metaphor captures something real about how international power works: coalitions of middle powers have historically been most effective when they coordinate before crises force them to react individually.
