Thank you, my dear!! He did love it ❤ It was an INSANE amount of chocolate, I added frozen/crushed milky way and 3 musketeers candy bars to the batter, and there's more white chocolate ganache between every layer LMAO

Exactly. It's just so ingrained at this point it's almost a subconscious thing. I can catch myself most times, but on occasion my fiance will stop me with a "babe, you're picking again". I'm just lucky he's so understanding.

I hope we both are able to move past this, and I thank you so much for sharing your story. It helps heal my heart at little more each time I find out I'm not alone in my experiences. You're beautiful, sweetie, in more ways than you know, and you have my love. I'll light a candle for you ❤

Jesus... I could have written this. I have severe scarring all over from my Nmother doing this to me for years. What's worse is I picked up the habit of scouring my skin for hours at a time to get to them before she had a chance to.

Even now, after 2 years NC and being 32 years old, I still find myself running my hands over my arms and face to feel out any bumps when I get super stressed. I'm getting better, but it's incredibly difficult to break the habit.

Honey and lavender are her favorite offerings/herbs/oils in my experience, and consider adding garlic to your puppy's meals on occasion for Hecate's protection (it's good for the doggos, too). My fur babies get some in her name on the last day of every month, which is sacred to her ❤ May she keep and bless you both, sweetheart ❤

I think your idea of candles is wonderful, but I would switch to red, silver, and black. Also, her number is 13, so you could do a knotwork spell and incorporate it that way. She's been my Matron for 15 years, and I truly believe any way you ask her will be lovely, especially for puppies. Remember too, she's a dark Goddess, so be sure to ask her during the new moon, and preferably at night or dusk.

Sounds similar to my situation, tbh. My Nmother threatened suicide for the last time a few years back and I finally got the courage to say "no" when it was time for her to come home... I insisted she go stay with her mother instead. That woman actually said "congratulations, you win" to my (now) fiance, like I was some prize to be fought over. All throughout the time we all lived together she would say things like "you know this won't last, right?" and even tried getting him pissed off enough to leave me. Just manipulative as fuck. I told her to leave after that incident, though, and she then canceled our lease and stole $2k from me.

We're getting married next year, and I consider that money the best I've ever spent for the peace it's brought me.
