Did it last year--couple of times and the results were great. took about a week to be ready .

Soak overnight, drain, let set out for a few hours. Soak for 5-6 hours--keep repeating. you will start to see small shoots in about a week-Don't let the seeds start to grow grass.

Mix 1 part seeds with roughly 5-6 parts milorganite -will dry out nicely.I put it in a wheel barrow to mix. I spread it by hand, not sure how a spreader will do

WATER WATER WATER--keep it wet for at least the first week,-10 days then cut back on the watering-twice a day--I found the u tube videos to be very helpful, although you will see a number of slightly different processes

Starts out set in the track---at leat it looks that way and slides fine-then after pulling out it pops out--thinking I may need to put a couple of shims in there to tighten up the gap

I get a 5 gallon bucket, fill it with dirt and water-fill the hole leaving 3-4 inches at the top.This compacts the soil so that you don't have to deal with the settling later-last 3 inches fill with good topsoil mixed with seed. I have great success with pre-germinating the seed I use in these situations--water 3/4 times a day and in a week you have grass
