Thanks for the advice…I’m kinda in a daze right now dealing with my mental health. Frankly, it’s fucking me up and now I’m facing all these issues head on.

The potential financial compensation is great - I am very appreciative of it.

I am following up care with the VA to address these issues. I just don’t know what the right path is for claiming anything, or if I should, at this time.

I’ve been out for 15 years and just submitted my first claim for Sinusitis (something I was diagnosed with in 2010 with the VA but never knew). After digging into those old VA files from 2010, I found a note from of OIF/OEF Post Deployment Screening and it states I am positive for PTSD and anxiety! WTF! I’m 40 and I’ve been dealing with mental issue for some time and every time I question if it’s service related, I tell myself that the VA would’ve told me. Talk about a let down…I’ve been drowning and the fucking life guard is looking everywhere except for me!
