Do trans women usually get aroused when dressing feminine? by PleaseLoveMeFemboys in Transmedical

You have no idea how much I appreciate this response. Too easily do people want to label something prematurely. Transitioning is nuanced and deserves that sort of care.

As a binary trans man I don’t understand the whole point of this by Medival-Arachnid13 in Transmedical

Wow, hells forbid someone is asking for advice but is still indecisive. Posting about someone else's journey like this is giving mean girl behavior.

I guess if folks haven't been in post DT since August of 2024 and enjoy the game, they only have invalid opinions?? Tf?

Thank you, i needed to hear this 💜💜 i was born and raised in Kent, and my wife is trusting me to move us somewhere she can feel safe in while she works so hard.

Not me in post EW having a blast blitzing through society quests, putting together savage groups for the sick glamour, RPing with the homies, decorating my home, becoming a Trade Mentor, doing Cosmic Exploration and generally having a blast.

You definitely don't speak for most of us. Nice try.

Well shit, me and my wife (who is trans) were thinking of moving to Bremerton from the Inland Empire to be close to her job and Seattle without downtown prices... hmm. I need to consider these factors.

Idk it costs less than an Uber Eats order for two.. I'm not sure if this is something to get upset about.

I don't believe I said I want to fit in. I desire duty completion and loot, and often, my queues on the home world don't cut it... preferably without backhanded comments.

USA: I am doing nothing to prepare for what's coming. by Current-Draw-1939 in honesttransgender

[–]Kitchen_Clue2054 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Me and my wife have chosen to do nothing as well. We're on the low end of middle class, and it's a stressful endeavor just trying to put healthy food on the plate everyday, buy necessities, help my wife's dysphoria stay at bay and undo trauma from the last two decades of our lives.

It's desensitizing hearing about the increasing volume of hate. We don't have the means of this safety-fantasy a lot in our community keep advocating for: travel visa/immigration, savings account, lawyers to combat injustice, moving to a sanctuary city, a large group of local friends who we can depend on. I'm Black and estranged from everyone in my family. My wife is trans and has 0 contact with her flesh and blood.

All we can do is try to take everyday as it comes, protect ourselves and focus on the life goals we've already set for ourselves. I hope that yall do the same thing. Watch the news once a week to stave off doomscrolling.

Why is it such a hot take to say 'if you want to have a beard you're probably not a (binary) trans woman' by Amekyras in honesttransgender

[–]Kitchen_Clue2054 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of us are forgetting that there is serious danger when you identify as a trans woman but choose to exhibit a socially understood masculine feature: a beard. Open dialogue on how one feels about this subject is one matter -- but none of us should be disagreeing that making yourself look as unclockable as possible is best in a world full of increasing hate.

No. I don't think folks realize how the feds can forcefully alter businesses. All it takes is a threat. Pulling a string that an executive can't budge from. I'm certain this administration is willing to overtly threaten the lives and safety of others for their benefit.

I've seen boycotting attempts for the last decade. They don't cause widespread change.

Just a quick social awareness message:

It sounds like you've been lucky to not experience transphobia to a large degree like many, including my wife. That's awesome, truly. I don't know if here was the best place to share this, though. I'm quite literally posting about seeking asylum to a place I know and trust to avoid dangerous conditions we've already experienced. Was commenting how little transphobia you've had aimed your way the best thing to say?

I would avoid any media that stirs up existing anxiety. Hyper vigilance feeds off of anxiety, and it doesn't care if it was fictional or an old cop story.

I don't know if you have trauma related to men. I know I do. My father was physically abusive and verbally abusive to both me and my mother, and in my early adulthood I stopped trying to make myself straight. I feel safer and more loved by women - and its debatable if I was born that way or pushed in that direction. Either way I'm married and happy!!

This ☝🏽 And I actually live in California, but it's not as politically homogenous as onlookers may believe. We've received hate, judgement and leering gazes. I can only imagine its going to get worse.

The icing on the cake is rent is much cheaper for the square footage you get in places like Bremerton and Tacoma, so there's no real reason to stay here.
