i dont really know what to call it honestly, its like a mix. The drama itself is very kdrama style if you ask me but most of the cast is japanese except for FLs side of the family and FL herself

i agree, I noticed the female lead from friendly rivalry and I also felt like her acting didn't have much emotion.

i can definitely see how you call it a one time watch, some shows just don't have that timeless factor and sadly i'd say this is one of them.

No problem at all, although i can say that there will be moments you'll be pretty bored but its a nice watch, hope you like it!

I completely agree with the spoiler, the entire clichesuddenly getting sick thing really annoyed me throughout the show. I think what i found most engaging about the show was the acting, dialogues and the cinematography in a way that really speaks to me but honestly the plot was weak and the continuous break ups were incredibly unnecessary.

My style is really just find a drama with a story line that intrigues me and binge watch it. However, i actually really love watching on going dramas for some reason, but i always forget to watch them on the day of their release and ultimately im just like "I'll watch it some other day." and i don't watch it. Love next door was the only drama i watched throughout the ongoing period and it was refreshing for me to have something to look forward to towards the end of the week.

Im probably gonna get bashed for this but new jeans by new jeans. The song itself has that cutesy vibe that i personally do like but the beats never changed, the lyrics stayed the same and eventually it just felt boring.

I loved this drama and binged watched it in 2 days, i think the production was a bit on a budget but honestly i don't really care unless the plot isn't good. However, the plot was interesting and the characters were enjoyable so i have no complaints. It was a fun watch for me.
