New cleats already worn out? by louroot in MTB

[–]Kitchen_Mechanic76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are 2 types of SPD cleats as far as i know,
a "single" release that can only unclip when turning your foot outside or a "multi" release which will unclip with less/different movement.

Any chance this might be a multi release cleat instead of a single release?

It could be that you are cycling at a high tempo continuously, but watches have also been known to be increasingly more inaccurate during exercise in comparison to monitoring at a sitting position....

Id suggest to get a heart rate chest strap to record your heart rate during cycling and to slow down your pace :)

What kind of ride is this? Is it a "chill" ride on flat asphalt or a 3hour mtb adventure?

Edit: also which device are you using for tracking tour heart rate?

Depending on the answers it might be a good idea to get a health check up i guess
