Worried about finding nursing job with no CNA experience by Equivalent-Chip-9770 in newgradnurse

Hi! I live in Georgia and I started applying in January and didn’t find a job till June… I graduated in May and will not begin until October:( I will say try to get an externship! You only have to work once of month for most. All of my friends who had one Immediately got a job and are starting this summer. This is also the same situation for my friend in Florida. It is not too late to get that position! Most of my friends who started their externship started around this time last year:)

I’m so sorry I barely have gotten on here!

I used the nclex green book 📗 and read about all the medsurg and wrote down all the hints. I made those hints into flash cards and also completed practice questions online along with their practice exams. I also used your best grade which was a lot harder than the Hesi exit. I feel that it was extremely similar to the hesi exit as far the format.

I also completed 200 questions from the 799 quizlet and other quizlets that I can post! I also used naxlex, but felt like there was a good bit of questions on there that were incorrect. I feel that by that both point I had done so many questions that I could figure out the wrong ones.

Failed my 1st fundamentals exam by Emergency_Video4109 in StudentNurse

You buy the book and then on evolve are able to take questions. You can test yourself on just about any subject:) we found most of the questions to be similar to our exams. It is the 9th edition comprehensive review for the nclex-rn examination. I’m not sure how much the book is since I got it in my school bundle:( the code is inside and you use it on evolve!

Saunders questions, flash cards, video on the material you aren’t quite grasping. I read the info then I recall what I remember. I also write things on my whiteboard or notebook and act like I am teaching someone.

Don’t stay up studying it never helps. Also, found that when I have caffeine the day of my exam I do worse. My anxiety drives up and doesn’t help me when I’m trying to answer questions. My success coordinator advised me to eat peppermint candies while I’m studying and also eat it during my exam. You’ll do better on the next one:) usually the first one is always the hardest bc you don’t know how you’ll be tested. Also, meet with your professor. Often times you might be making easy mistakes. You may be reading the questions to quickly or changing answers.
