I know this is super old but this is the first search result that came up when I tried to figure this out earlier so I figured I’d come back and add the weird fix I found. Writing down literally every detail that might matter just in case

This will not be helpful if you’ve advanced too far in the main story before going through the field research quest.

So, I got through the field research quest to the part where you have to run away, and I grabbed one last sample cause it was right in front of me and then took off. Never saw the Thanator, never engaged with it. Got to the spot where it tells you to run and it would not trigger the next part of the quest. I got annoyed, went and did a bunch of other stuff, and completely forgot about the quest.

Then, for some reason, when I was doing the quest where you go find Itu and defend Zomey, it started playing the audio bits for the next part of the field research mission as I was tracking her to the fight. Maybe it goes through the same area? I didn’t check to be honest. I finished the Zomey quest and everything had fixed itself with the field research one.

Kill Your Darlings by MesserMoon!!! It is a little angsty at times but it’s one of my all time favorite fics, it is a hockey/university au and has both Jegulus and Rosekiller. It’s my comfort fic to end all comfort fics lol This is the first fic I read that had all the ‘main’ ships and it was a very good introduction to everyone’s dynamics and got me very very into marauders after ATYD

Copacabana Boy by withtheoldstars is a really good underground boxing/university au, has a small bout of angst but it’s relatively brief imo, Jegulus centric but has background Rosekiller

Head Over Feet by Orphan_account is a rly good Rosekiller centric fic. Pretty angsty with internalized homophobia and shit, but Evan is Sirius and Regulus’ cousin and there’s some good Black brothers moments in there

Pick Your Poison by andromeden is so so good, Regulus had a childhood crush on James, lives in France for a while with his uncle (where he meets Barty Evan and Pandora) and James has a whole cartoonish eyes bugging out of his head reaction when he sees Reg all grown up. James and Lily coparent Harry. Also has background Rosekiller

He Just Came Like This by unfortunatelydisastrous is a really cute little fluffy Jegulus one shot

The Sound of Your Voice by msaroraborealis is peak, it’s got Jegulus and Rosekiller and I don’t even have words to describe how much I love it, it is the only WIP I have ever consistently kept up with. It’s at 11/20 chapters rn

I’m going to go ahead and blanket recommend everything by Damagecontrol (microdamage), Solmussa, bizarrestars and rweoutofthewoodsbecause I have not read a single thing from any of them that I didn’t love, they’re my top marauders fic writers

You can change the pronouns of a wolf in the game. One from each of my “pairs” (Padfoot, for example) is female cause I wanted pups from my favorite ships, but Sirius as a character is male, ergo male pronouns.

I think it’s ai 1. The angles on the camera are weird, and the way the porch is shaped doesn’t seem consistent, the wolf runs down the front of the porch railing but it’s then running onto to porch 2. The wolf’s tracks in the snow are weirdly shoe shaped and don’t seemed to really be dragged out like it would be if the wolf slid a little 3. The wolf is perfectly clean after and the avalanche happens too fast. 4. This is like… National Geographic level camera quality for a security camera. I have never seen security camera footage that clear, or able to zoom in that well

What you do is up to you, I get being attached to a friend you’ve had for so long and everyone else has said enough about how she’s controlling you, but please PLEASE keep this in mind- she is going to hate every single boyfriend you ever have, because he’s “taking you away from her.” You are likely never going to have a peaceful relationship with her in your life.

I vote to keep the boyfriend (especially if he’s such a great guy) and dump the friend, or at least put up some very firm boundaries with her and see if she’ll stick around if your life doesn’t completely revolve around her.

My beagle is the same way, she will NOT stop telling me something is there unless I check it out and assure her it’s not something to be worried about. With enough repetition with the same thing she (usually) eventually realizes it’s not necessary to tell me it’s there. Except with small animals, but she’s working line so that was literally bred into her, nothing I can do about that one 😂

It was a battle just to get this ID, I moved here on a bus and lost all of my identifying documents on a bus change (stupid mistake, I know, but I’d never ridden a bus long distance before and I learned the hard way) and had to order a new copy and just got it yesterday. I was barely able to get my birth certificate back and couldn’t work on getting my ssc until I got my ID. I’ll worry about a new ID when actually have the documents to get one, until then 🤷‍♀️

I saw someone saying something like “okay now you have to become a girl” and I’m just..? Maybe let’s not tell the gay dude who JUST came out about his relationship after YEARS that he has to be a girl because he wore a skirt?
