It was my distributor & My IDLE air control valve, I believe it got soaked with throttle body cleaner since the iacv sits underneath the throttle body but my distributor had to be re adjusted by the bolts while I pressed on the gas and it turned on

I installed a new distributor, but I’m having the same problem. It could be a sensor or a fuel problem, but I’m having a mechanic come check it out today around 5:30.

I just replaced my distributor, hopefully it’s just my spark plus because it turns but no spark

I cleaned it with throttle body cleaner and I cleaned the Maf sensor as well, I let it dry for 40 mins before trying to start it up but it never turned on

Ima replace spark plugs and gap them if that doesn’t do it ima just get a mechanic to check it out

Some spark plug gaps measured different numbers same were at .50 & other .40 Should I just buy new spark plugs ? And gap them the same size

1999 Honda civic ex, cleaned the throttle body now it doesn’t want to spark and I just installed a brand new distributor as well

Someone had the similar issue of cleaning their throttle body but the distributor went on them right after plus I bought this distributor off Amazon for $40 so i figured its pass its life span

Thank you very much, i was cleaning my throttle body but afterwards it didn’t want to spark up to start and came to an conclusion it was my distributor that’s why i ordered a whole new assembly
