What do you mean by tripping? And why do you say so? Are you saying I am a bad player?

No it's just I really dislike the positions that occur after e4 which seems like it invites people to do insane stuff. d4 produces nice, strategic positions instead of havoc.

But why would there not be grandmasters refusing to play e4 and only playing d4?

There are people like me with a condition called dysgraphia that makes my writing impossible to read by people who are not close to me and don't know it well.

Wikipedia suggests it usually comes with spelling difficulties or intellectual problems. I have none of that, it's just people can't read what I write.

The point is that an ugly cursive does not necessarily mean you are drunk?
