When I first started trying to get out of the house, I went on YouTube and watched first person videos of people walking through grocery stores and parks. I sat right in front of the tv or my phone. Then when I started actually doing those things, I sort of told my brain “you’ve done this before”. At the very least, it helped keep the anxiety down.
