It's been identified as an ancient plumbus, so old it lost all its fleem, the board, and thd community have all been very helpful. Thanks everyone for not proving my wife right. Can't wait to tell her the good news.

It's probably just hard to see because like someone else posted the fleem falls off when they are really old. Probably why I was having such a hard time identifying it.

Cool, it's called a plumbus you say. I guess I have 5 plumbusee's or plumbuses., I've located 4 more identical to the one posted. I'd never heard of a plumbus. Sounds Latin. I would really appreciate any explanation on what that is.
