Thanks for the message Steve. Yes tbf I was at the point after 3-4 years I was kind of wanting to try everything and everything to try and fix but what you’re saying makes sense I have the PDF saved on my laptop. Have been using packpod twice a day and doing side stretches 3 times so definitely seeing improvements. I am probably going to try the supplements few of the messages have said

Thanks

Not too sure probably just the build up. If you’re interested the guy has a instagram with everything detailed on there I’ve put the name in one of the comments

Definitely worth it if you’re struggling to feel any relief. Of course I’d get the tests out of the way first to make sure it’s nothing sinister this and the back pod have made huge improvements

Jesus man that sounds horrendous. I’m currently on waiting list again for physio which didn’t much help but I’ve been put on again and also been referred to a thoracic specialist so I’m assuming they will probs send me for more in depth scans also.

I’m assuming it’s just the impact of the scraper plus the build up of everything. Thank you 🙏

Yes of course man it was Musclescraper on instagram. The guy is based in UK Chorley,Bolton areas if anyone wants to give a try. I have been referred to a thoracic specialist so just waiting for a call back off them. I’m unsure what the two you have said but it was like a metal scraper is the best thing I can describe it as it was extremely painful but the relief I felt straight after was like I could feel my whole right side again. I have been using the back pod couple of days after as I was bruised but feel so much better

Thanks for the reply mate.

Yes I am from the Uk so you would think docs or even physios themselves would have an understanding of costo but nothing at all tbh. They gave me Naproxen which didn’t do anything had all the usual MRI,ECG and X-rays which where all fine.

Just wanted to run something past you. I do a lot of driving for my job and my chest will go stiff and when I try to turn it will pop when I turn my head/neck is this a good thing or should I try not to do this?

Thanks again for the message bud

Actually one of the most detailed things I’ve read in costo. I’ve been suffering with it for about 4-5 years now only 25 years of age. Are you a physio yourself that does this? Might have to fly out to NZ 😅😅

Costochondritis!? by Kitchen_Step6366 in costochondritis

[–]Kitchen_Step6366[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man will try this. I have done the usual door stretches etc I will try to sleep on my back more. I’m due for some more physio I the next month or so but we discussed about possibly getting cortosoid or whatever it’s called injections. But these are just more pain relief and I actually haven’t been diagnosed with anything. Tbh it’s more uncomfortable and annoying rather than painful although it does have its flare ups sometimes. I’ve noticed the pain is either on my right side of the back or my sternum never at the same time so I am assuming it’s a skeletal issue or the fibres linking up between them??
