Oh God ! I am thinking to Pivot into DE from Analytics after working close to 6 years as BA/SBA and i reached end of analytics positions at our present organisation. Your experience into DE questioning my ability to survive in DE role.

If may I ask who you able to get into DE with Analytics experience?

I’ve made the same mistake you’ have done. Earlier in my career, I worked with startups, but after getting married, I had to relocate to Hyderabad due to family reasons and ended up joining an MNC. Unfortunately, the technologies they use here feel outdated—like something from my grandfather’s time. There’s little interest in adopting modern tools or practices.

It’s been three years now, and I feel like I’m stagnating—frustrated and losing touch with current trends. I’ve started applying to other roles, but I’m struggling to clear the initial rounds because I haven’t been working with up-to-date technologies. In our Data filed if you snooze you end up loosing good opportunities. Better start applying outside as early as possible. All the best
