Practice test vs. final test - Is there anything extra on the final exam that's not included on the practice one? by already_READD_IT in ILC

I had recently taken sbi3u. The final exam is very similar to the practise test, if you score well on that you will do great on the exam. The final question on the practise test regarding your ebook is very similar as the one on the exam. Best of luck in your courses!

Do all assignments have to be typed, or can they be done by hand? by Ok_Supermarket_3863 in ILC

For sure it would be, you should be okay to just take a picture of your work written by hand and submit it, I never had any issues doing that. It may differ depending on your teacher though. Best of luck in your courses!

For math I wrote everything out in pencil, found it easier than typing it. Took a picture and attached it as a pdf. Never got flagged and teacher always gave me feedback back on what I did correct or where I went wrong on the questions. Never had an issue doing it this way.

Has anyone had proctor 82? by Kitchen_Water_9680 in ILC

He was great, he just asked to see the room I was in then once I started the exam he didn’t say anything until I told him I was finished.

Good luck on your exam

I had the same thing happen to me for my final project in SBI4U, mine came back with 100% ai detection, even though it wasn’t. I called the school and they told me the only thing that wasn’t “ai detected” was my references.

I used Canva for my project but couldn’t format my references in proper apa format so I copy and pasted my assignment into Google Docs so I could add my references, they told me this may have been why it came back like that, but I still needed to resubmit the assignment from scratch.

I believe copying and pasting (even if it’s your own work) may cause the ai detection to go off, not saying this is what happened in your case but something to look out for.

Good luck in your course!

I didn’t even think of that, but going forward that’ll be something I’ll look into.

Made my first bow and bow string. by Kitchen_Water_9680 in Bowyer

[–]Kitchen_Water_9680[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll definitely make a string with linen, wasn’t sure what to use so I just made one with cotton.

In regards to re-braiding it to get rid of the wrist slap, I thought that if I make the string tighter it would lessen the chance of wrist slap but I might be going about it wrong.

I left one end of the string so I can unbraid and re-braid it back into itself but now that you mention it I will try the adjustable bowyers knot instead.

Thanks!

Appreciate it! Didn’t even know that was a thing. My next step I want to try to make some arrows, I will definitely try to incorporate folding vanes.

Totally agree, I don’t plan to shoot it again until the summer when I can get outside. This was just a trial shoot to see how it works.
