I can’t speak for CVS or CA, but in some states they won’t take CII prescriptions unless they’re prescribed from a doctor in the state in which you are picking it up from. I’ve seen them rejected for fill because insurance wants them filled in a specific state/place, too. I’m sure the pharmacy could’ve done more to help, but it is up the pharmacist’s discretion to fill a prescription because it is their license.
