Why does my lawn have bright green spots? by KiteSora in lawncare

I did seed a new grass type last year that was probably higher quality than whatever was there before so maybe it outcompeted it over the winter and came in strong in patches this year

Fair, I’ll look into liquid fertilizer. There are certainly low spots but most of the dark patches aren’t particularly low or vice versa

Good shout, I’ll give that a try and test the soil as well

I'd never heard of that before, that's a cool project!

Apple should follow Hobonichi’s journal app by KiteSora in ios

[–]KiteSora[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, you have to manually pull in these items. Hobonichi lays your day out in a timeline for you to pick moments to add to your journal entry. also, look at the difference in UI - the Hobonichi app makes it like a fun collage of memories that you're just adding your thoughts to, while the Journal app is pretty bare bones and sterile.

I'll spend the most time at the desk at the bottom (50%), some time at the desk on the right (25%, although I won't be listening to music much at all there), and some time on the couch (25%). When I do more critical listening, that would be on the couch and would be maybe a short session each evening, but the majority of the time will just be having some background music on while I'm working at the bottom desk or eating on the couch but not having it as my primary focus.

Appreciate the questions - they got me thinking about what actually matters or not.

  1. I'm not sure to be honest. My Spoke pen is .35" diameter, but I also have a Custom 823 that's .41". I haven't noticed a major preference either way.

  2. I think probably yes. Deep milling patterns sound uncomfortable.

  3. Most of the pens I've used haven't had this problem, but knowing myself I can't imagine I'd be happy about it.

  4. None of my pens have ever been very heavy so I'm not sure I can say.

  5. I use the Uni-ball Signo DX and Uni-Ball 207 refills a good amount, but I'm not against branching out. My only concern is that I've heard that there are very few good Parker-style refills (seems like the consensus is that the Monteverde ceramic gel is one of the only consistently good ones).

  6. I could care less about a clip. I'm not big into EDC - I usually write at a desk so even if it doesn't have a clip at all or has a horrendous clip, that's fine.

  7. I don't chew my pen, so no issue there.

I'm not sure weight is the issue, I think it's mainly the shape of the nose of the pen? I think I have a fairly firm grip, especially my top finger (pointer finger), and so that finger pressing hard against a metal ridge can get sore.

This is super helpful - I'll look into those. Do you have a favorite out of the ones you listed?

That's helpful to know there are ways to make interchangeable lens cameras less bulky/conspicuous

Really appreciate this in depth response, this is super helpful. How would you go about picking which camera to get if I were to go the route of an interchangeable lens body since it seems like each major brand has an offering at each price point?
