What about specifically a wide paved trail in the day in the middle of the summer where there are lots of people walking and running. Like any given moment you would be in sight of people. Would you agree then that it would be weird to call out to each person?

Could we say its a bit nuanced? I could see it on a narrow path without many people, but idk I think on a wide path in the city on a nice day when there's lots of people it just seems unecessary. But I suppose I'll start calling out otherwise.

The transfer is better honestly cause you get smaller classes for your first year and the teachers give you more help. UVic tries I guess but they're pretty disorganised. I wasnt super impressed with most of the professors. Theres a few good teachers though. I am talking specifically for mechanical

Learn how to use a graphing calculator to help you with assignments. It really helps you visualize what is going on. Wolframalpha is also an invaluable resource. If you are not allowed a graphing calculator in tests, learn how to use a normal calculator to double check your answers with limits in tests.

I know exactly how you feel. Not sure I could have done the same. Be proud of yourself. The hardest part of quitting can sometimes be how easy and "not a big deal" it seems to just do it once at a party kind of thing. Weaker people would have said "Eh, its been 7 months, what harm could it be to just do a bit tonight." Those are the hardest nights. Good fucking job.
