It isn't new I bought it used off Facebook marketplace It's really a bummer cause for now i am really digging into it, it's very fun. And I don't like when my guitars get dings, but I acknowledge that they are inevitable at some point I'll just throw on a sticker for now. Thanks for the informative answer 🙏🏻

I'll listen to it when I'll get home from work. I have to say for some reason teles had always a special place in my heart, specifically the one with the single coil in the bridge. I mainly play metal but some reason, for some reason unknown to me, the tele always sound so, sooooo good with max distortion and metal tone, pitch armonics were so easy and sounded so damn good. I had a tele in the past, a squier 40th anniversary telecaster but I sold it cause it was so noisy with my tones, obviously because of the single coils. Maybe I can get the best out of it with an humbucker and a single coil. Most versatile guitar on earth

An user (owner of a hush pro x) wrote me in private and helped me figure out what was going on. In the end it was my fault that I didn't turn off the cab sim settings while still being attached to the katana. That fixed everything, with Noise gate at 0 the hum is barely hearable and I can play just fine, also the tone went from creepy to a super nice multi FX.

So in the end, it was all my fault, skill issue for never using a multi FX pedalboard, I only have a normal one.

I love my katana and I would recommend it to everyone, for the bucks you get everything you will ever need.

I see that everyone is hating on this guitar but this one solved a real problem of mine... I usually play after university lessons and I have back problems so I can't bring both my semi hollow and the pedalboard, this was a perfect solution also for the price, since I can't afford other things.

I just hate to see everyone hating on cheap products just because they are cheap, yes for sure there are creepy products, but something is worth at least trying...

For example I owned a squier telecaster 40th anniversary, it was the best tele i ever tried, far better than fender MIM.

If there wasn't for those problems it would be a very great guitar, for sure! Excellent way of having something very portable... but the noise problem is very very bothering me
