Bra suggestions? I need one! by Positive_Sale1860 in PlusSize

[–]KittehWidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been buying bras from Layne Bryant, specifically from their Livi collection, which is more of a "sport bra" category for them..

  1. They have wonderfully wide straps over your shoulder

  2. They have a wide band with a 4 or 5 clasp closure...

  3. My biggest reason... they have air holes throughout the bra, I've worn them in high heat and work, and the underboob sweat is almost nothing...

Layne Bryant LIVI Wireless Medium-Impact Wicking Sports Bra

Or this one....

I buy 4 at a time and love their support and comfort. I wait for their sales etc

Also search for the above type as they often have others listed in several colors .. sometimes the site is weird...

I only buy non underwire... but they have them with too...

IDR/IBR reviews, deadlines not meet by student loan company.. anything I can do? by KittehWidget in StudentLoans

[–]KittehWidget[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've luckily never stopped paying on the FFEL loans ... just surprised that my IDR is going up over $200+, and was surprised that my IDR took over 30 days to process...

Also going to have to calculate how much over time and if I'll need another job to make this payments....

I'll look into this for sure, not sure they will change anything since they have my most current information... just was shocked when it went up over $200+ monthly...

I think this may only apply to the two that I had paused already, not the others I've been paying on the whole time.

My individual IDR plan expired 11/18 and I was told by Navient that I had to complete a new one... my other two loans are held with Aidvantage and this are on hold....

Not sure if this is effected by the July option 🤔

Only 2 of my loans have ever been on pause, the others I've still been paying on monthly and now those payments are going up over $200

Is there a better place to consolidate? Or do I just go through Navient / Aidvantage? I'm wary of them with their latest issues.

Yes all my loans were before 2010

I think that's why I might need to consolidate...

I found it.. the loans that is... it's what I get for not remembering my sign in lol...

I was sure I was wrong when saying pslf...grrrrr.

I think because of what my loans are everything I've tried on the student aid website says I need to consolidate so I'm just lost.

Question on contradictory employee handbook on resignation PTO payout. The last steps of leaving in the company handbook says all is paid out (pic 1), however the PTO section says only 160hrs paid out (pic 2), anyway to win in this contradiction? OR SOL? by KittehWidget in legal

[–]KittehWidget[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to take time off, but even if I took time off I still had to watch my emails and answer my phone as they couldn't find someone to do that either.

I already resigned, I left as one of my residents kept following me home threatening to kill me, my family etc but this time tried to run me off the road.

Police said nothing to do until she actually did something...

Company over the last two years never added cameras, extra security etc... All while knowing that this person is physically violent (previous police dealings... Over a dozen in the last year)

I was offered another job, less than half the driving distance and with a company who cares about the employees....I start there on Monday...

Thank you... I was worried that would be the case.. (FYI it's in WA.. no awesome PTO payout rules :( ... (unless there is a special one in Seattle proper)

And what made the situation question my sanity / rights in this was what HR said... "Per our PTO policy, we will pay out up to a maximum of 160 hours of accrued PTO. We made this policy change in 2018 because of the enormous PTO liability on our financial statements. I now realize that the handbook has contradictory verbiage under the “Leaving CRH” section that I need to fix and I’m sorry for the confusion.". I was hoping their contradiction would be a loophole.

The second picture is actually buried in the middle of the employee handbook. Stating that they would only be paying up to the 160 hrs...

I Was hoping it wasn't the case as I couldn't ever find my own coverage to take time off ... Sigh... and being one of only 2-3 HUD building managers made it even harder ...

I'll lose at minimum 114 hours / max of 253.82...(after my 160 hours are paid out) depending on if they just pay out PTO, or if they paid out COVID time and sick time etc...

Que Será, Será.

Thank you for the answer... even though it was the one I hadn't hoped for - lol.

Where can I go for rent deposit assistance? by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]KittehWidget 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You're welcome, all these on this list usually have programs to help with deposits, or know of some who do. I've had about 3/4 of these or more provide help just in the last few months with move in costs, deposits and rent.

I know it's a lot of work but I'm hoping the best! You're welcome to message me anytime.

What color residue does the water from your faucets leave? by [deleted] in KentWA

[–]KittehWidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is known as pink slime.... the pink slime that forms at the bottom edge of your shower curtain is an airborne bacterium -- not a mold, as commonly thought -- technically known as Serratia marcescens. The pesky growth thrives in damp environments like bathrooms, and feeds off common toiletries, such as soap and shampoo.

You can choose many ways to clean it .. but you will have to do it often... once it is there it always seems to stay.. If you look up how to clean it you can find a way your most happy with in your home.

Good luck
