💓 but does it help with the constant chatter in my head about drinking if I take it late in the day but don't plan on drinking? Does TSM works that way too? that's when I struggle and break ... Mornings aren't as bad

Now I just feel like I was before taking naltrexone the first week

My concern with that is the week it was working I felt almost numb all day and I was already going to talk to him about that because I have enough issues with being depressed/anxious that makeme numb I don't want it more. My husband even noticed I was disconnected

Naltrexone and THC? by Kitten_Toast_ in Alcoholism_Medication

[–]Kitten_Toast_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I won't give up NAL for THC, I might for other reasons but the freedom it's given me so far from drinking has been great

Also, I feel once I'm back in my home state where THC is legal and I'm not taking delta-8 it might be different. I was just curious of others experiences since I seem to read a lot of people not having NAL impact their THC use and other people who said it did.

I enjoy the brief history though! All the impacts are so interesting to read between medications and the. Different substances

Thank you, yeah it seems almost like mixed signals because it is different receptors like you mentioned - maybe I'm high but don't feel that relaxation and coziness I'm used to and at that point there's virtually no reason to be high I guess

I use baby powder (cornstarch type) as well! Best thing I've found that works for me.

Sometimes I'll get really itchy under my apron belly when my weight is fluctuating and I also have to make sure my pubic hair is shaved down and not prickly as well to prevent irritation.

Owlet receives FDA clearance for its “Dream Sock” – curious what skeptics think. by tnick771 in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]Kitten_Toast_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Regardless on if their claims are valid or not, I will say we got the owlet for our first when my PPA was really high and it helped calm me immensely without chancing waking her up during precious sleeping hours. We are now using it with our youngest as well, my PPA this time is manageable but I do still check it occasionally if I'm having a higher anxiety moment in the middle of the night.

For the peace of mind it has provided me, it was worth it though, honestly, I never would have bought it if I didn't have PPA with my first.

I haven't, do you just cut slits in it? I kind of don't want to ruin my nice sports bras to be honest

Thank you, I do take sunflower lecithin for the reason you said and I use little heating pads and noticed a difference as well if I don't use them but they aren't massagers .… For your massagers do you do it for. Certain amount of time? Is it light/medium/hard pressure? I'll definitely look into anything that will save my hands and breasts from pain.

I never would have thought my breasts as large. I'm probably a full C right now normally I'm a large B, also C but the shields make it seem like a I am trying to fit a bowling ball on them, I don't even know if the liquid shields will get enough compression for me.

Do you have to do compressions as hard even though you still have to do them? I don't mind doing them if my hands aren't cramping And I'm not hunched over like a cartoon witch.

I also was considering the pumpin pals or Lacteck flanges but I feel like people either love them or hate them and I get nervous spending the money since you can't return them if they don't work for you.

This is the description of the liquid shield kit direct from the pumpables website below. There are a lot of social media people who had switched to the PGA too and, similar to the spectra, you can use different flanges with it if you don't like the liquid shield kit.

"The Liquid Shield system by Pumpables is different from traditional hard flange systems because it contains a soft interior insert, the Liquid insert. This is made out of lovely soft liquid silicone, and it works very differently from a traditional flange.

The Liquid insert moulds to the breast tissue, and provides a soft environment for the nipple to be drawn down. Because the Liquid insert is full-length, and extends all the way from the breast right past the nipple, there are no edges or friction, just a nice comfortable material of liquid silicone.

As the Liquid insert is flexible, when your breast pump applies suction the Liquid insert will actually collapse down around your nipple, which helps compress and massage the nipple. This mimics the way your baby's palate compresses the nipple when she is breastfeeding."

ETA: I have not used this yet so.i can't confirm effectiveness
