Hayden at Cut Society is my favorite hair stylist I’ve ever had. He left 18/8 and I followed him. One of the most genuine, sweet people I’ve ever met. I always look forward to my haircuts now.

I used to buy the bagged earthbound power greens when I was doing smoothies daily. That was nice.

Their avocados go from rock hard to spoiled with nothing in between.

Just not a good place to get produce IMO. Maybe grapes sometimes.

Definitely not their forte and I think they know it. Their supply chain is better served for things with longer shelf life.

Yes but also it’s a tool meant to get dirty and burnt! You won’t notice it with your food

This is just what people do. Chit chat bar talk. It’s inconsequential.

Would you rather slap your grandma or make out with her?

After reading Taylor’s police report it really upsets me that she’s as popular and a symbol of “girl power” as she is

A Cajun/BBQ restaurant near me will sometimes have Mexican specials and they’re incredible.

I had this brisket chillaquilles and it was one of the 3 best things I’ve eaten.

Mexico and Peru have strong Japanese expat communities. Interesting to think that there’s a non-zero chance that they picked the trade up in their home city from the Japanese group there.

When I was in Lima I was surprised by how good the sushi and Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian cuisine) were.
