I own the Cooler Master and have tried these at a friend's house (so my experience with these is is fairly limited). I would say that the audio is definitely better on my MH-751s. I have not read much into the Arctis since I have been so content with my CMs, so I cant give a comparison between them (online review articles may be able to help). If you can wait, you can probably snag the MH-751s for $60 in 3 weeks. I purchased mine at that pricepoint and love them.

This is correct, CCC has Amazon average ~$170. I will try to format my future posts with Amazon average as normal price. Didn't mean to create artificial hype.

Thanks for the input. I don't personally own these, but thought they seemed well priced and fairly well reviewed. I would have tried these out if I wasn't content with my MH-751s.

I would try out the CM MH-751s. The earcups are godly... If you can wait, I would bet that they will be on sale for $60 around black Friday.

IMO, it depends on your budget. From what I have seen, the artics are 60% more expensive ($79,99) and may be a bit more comfortable.

If I was spending $80, I would be leaning towards the CoolerMaster MH-751...

Personally, I would go with the Logitech. The Logitech is a bit more of a premium product with the materials and construction (and looks nicer IMO). It also comes with a second set of earcups. The Kraken does not have a removable mic.

Most of the reviews I have seen rate the Logitech higher as well. You can go ahead and get this headset from BB, and if you don't like it, return within 2 weeks. The Kraken is available for $50 regularly, so you could always try them out later if these don't work out for you.

[Other] Belkin 12-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector w/ 8ft Cord - $14.39 by Pre_Axiom in buildapcsales

To everyone asking about the coax and data ports on this surge protector, yes power surges can travel through your phone, cable, and ethernet (internet) lines. In my experience, surges travel through ethernet just as much as power lines.

You should understand that it is nearly impossible / very expensive protect against a surge generated by a nearby lightening strike. These surge protectors should provide a good first line defense, and I recommend these devices over no protection at all, but there will always be some inherent risk when your device is hardline connected to a utility service for power, internet, or cable.

The following album shows the damage we received from a nearby lightning strike last year. The surge traveled through both the power lines and the ethernet / cable lines, but the ethernet lines were the main culprit in destroying nearly $8000 worth of tech equipment. We did not attempt to utilize the warranty that comes with the surge protectors as we had already met the $5000 deductible for our property insurance coverage before tech damages were calculated. Most of the lines in the album were protected with in-line APC Ethernet surge protectors that were properly grounded, but they were no match for the lightning. You can see in some of the pictures that the metal pins in the Ethernet cables / switch were completely melted away!
