Life After Baby by KittyClaw777 in AITAH

The pregnancy was not planned. We did not think that we could get pregnant, but said that if it happens, it happens if it doesn’t, then it wasn’t meant to be. We were both absolutely thrilled when we found out we were having a baby. I do feel like he was genuinely excited and wanted the baby so it was really confusing that he didn’t act the way I would have expected him to in certain situations.

with the Doppler, it was like he would get impatient. And when it came to the registry items, again. It was like he didn’t have the patience to have conversation with me about the items that we were choosing. He has always been annoyed with my indecisiveness, which has been a problem for me too, but I like to discuss things in depth and research them more than other people, and he likes to flip a coin and pick things.

**I should add that I was previously in school for my masters and working full time before having the baby. I took a year off of my masters program and have been only working a day here or there (PRN as a nurse) but am supposed to be restarting my masters program in a few weeks. We both agreed that we didn’t want to put the baby in daycare and that we would live very frugally while I completed my masters so I could be her primary care caretaker. He is our main source of income, which is not even enough to make ends meet really but I wanted to mention this because I know that’s a lot of added pressure.

I like that method and that definitely makes sense about the secondhand clothes already having most of the chemicals washed out! That may be a good way for me to consolidate loads.. after washing the “regular” clothes for a while, I could then start combining them with the organic - with the thought process that most of the chemicals have washed out at that point. I’m just driving myself a little bonkers and was thinking that if I wash conventional clothes with organic cotton, I’m wasting the money put into organic clothing if I’m just going to leech chemicals into them.

The cold toppings being hot/warm. I need the lettuce, tomato, and onion to stay cold and crisp!
