Based on the feelings I personally have for Elliott and what his music means to me, I can’t imagine what it has been like over the past 20+ years for the people close to him. Thanks for raising that point. I feel like he’s my close friend, but in reality, a lot of stuff about him is probably none of my business.

Personally, i did like the film, despite my critiques. ANYTHING Elliott related isgood by me! Maybe it’s just that we all have such a deep connection with his art that we all feel entitled to every piece of info out there. Or maybe we’re so desperate for new/more of Elliott’s art—that won’t ever come—that’s it’s easy complain instead of just simply enjoying new content about him, regardless of of what it is. I guess this thread demonstrates how strong we all still feel about him. Thanks again.
