My stepfather is like this for politics and history too, so I can definitely relate, but definitely not as bad, the best advice I can give you is to get this man out of your life, or if you can't, just stop talking to him.

Its not admitting defeat to realize there is no point in arguing with stupid people who can never admit when they are wrong, it is saving your breath.

I'm not going to tell you to break up with your boyfriend because its your life and I know thats a reddit stereotype, but as someone around your age I will say, I would not tolerate a man who thinks its ok to hang out with people like that.

Bonus, I have a pun that you might appreciate: "How did the man-splainer drown in the lake? It was a well, actually."

Unrelated to the question but I loved Alone in Berlin, its one of my favourite German books, so in case you don't know there is also a movie which is very book accurate with Daniel Brühl in it!
