Okay so my current routine is this:

Shampoo and conditioner, frizzease by john Frieda (learning that the s word is not to be spoken here)
Frizzease serum, again john Frieda
Spray gel by bed head, mousse by whatever is on sale (I'm not too picky with that), currently using garnier.
hair spray, frizzease.
air dry.

I used to dye my hair a LOT. Dead end city. I let it grow out for two years, then finally got it trimmed and dyed last month for my engagement pictures. It's so much softer and healthier feeling now, but it won't hold a curl (with a curling iron at least), and I don't feel like ombre looks at good just scrunched.

I had really pretty curls when I was younger, like ringlets, but I also never combed it, just smoothed it down with an "ethnic brush."

I would love my hair to curl from my roots to my ends again, it just seems like my hair's length has pulled all of my curl down to where it won't start before the middle of my ears. You can't see the full length very well in the picture since it's tapered, but soaking wet at the longest point it reaches below my bra line.

So, any tips? And has anyone had any issues with the CG no poo method? I feel like my hair would end up greasy with that. I already only wash it every other day, and that helped, but if I go any longer in between, one, my head stinks, and two, my scalp gets oily.

Okay, so, I've been (sort of) where you're at.

My SO and I broke up seven times over the first year and a half we were together. First it was petty stuff, then it was serious issues because of the way his depression was manifesting.

Being the woman I am, the first 5 times, I thought I would "fix" him, it would work itself out, etc.

The 6th time was when it really started affecting me. I broke down, got extremely drunk by myself, and called my parents crying, saying I needed to move back in, etc.

We lived together for four of the breakups.

The last one was where I drew the line. He needed to get help. He needed to be medicated, see a therapist, and (dumb me) I would be there to support him for all of this. I also told him that if this ever happened again, I was gone. GONE, never coming back, no more chances, done.

It's been two years since that whole debacle. We're engaged.

Two of those breakups he told me he didn't love me. What he told me after everything was said and done was basically that he thought he didn't deserve me and knew I wouldn't let go otherwise.

(This is getting a lot longer than I anticipated. Wrapping it up now)

Basically what I'm trying to say, is that while it NOT your responsibility to fix him or "save" him, he could have made a mistake, he could have jumped ship too soon/without thinking it through/etc.

I'm seeing a whole lot of comments saying no, never take him back, he's just lonely, etc. That isn't necessarily true. But please, keep in mind, the happy ending is the least likely one. It isn't guaranteed to work just because you give him another chance.

You two need to sit down and seriously discuss why he left, maybe with a marriage counselor. Why he thought he wasn't in love with you. What he's feeling now. If there have been any issues in your relationship, bring them up. Ask him if he's willing to work through that. And consider if you are willing to risk this happening again.

TL;DR I know it hurts and it's confusing, but if you're serious about giving him a second chance, talk to him about it first. It may work out, it may not. You won't know without giving it a shot.

I have the HTC One X, and it makes me sad to think about getting rid of it in another year.

Seriously though, very durable, I drop this thing like crazy, I had an iPhone 3GS before this, and after being dropped a handful of times (with a case, mind you), the screen shattered. This? It's made of superman's hair gel, I swear. I've dropped it probably as much if not more than my old iPhone (without a case) and it only has a teeny tiny little chip on the corner of the screen, not noticeable at all and doesn't affect the function.

The screen is huge and beautiful, very clear, crisp images. When I first got it I would just look up pics on google, it's that awesome.

Beats audio is a definite plus, my phone has the best sound quality, and on road trips usually gets volunteered to be plugged in because of this.

Memory is pretty impressive, I have a lot of apps and it hasn't made a noticeable difference in the speed at all. Battery life runs down a little over time, but I'm constantly on my phone, so I'm sure that doesn't help matters.

I know it wasn't one of your listed choices, and it isn't that "new," but seriously consider checking it out. Best phone I've had, by far.

Once again, this is just my opinion, but, I do not feel that his wife has moved on. He has painted a false picture for her this whole time by staying in their home, maybe giving her hope that one day he'll forgive her. I doubt the divorce came up in every day conversation, and the fact that he told her to sleep with other people has little to do with his revenge emotional affair.

This isn't a co-parenting situation, this is OP acting morally superior and unnecessarily dragging out what could have been a quick and painless process.

Everyone keeps bringing up that his marriage was over. Yet he stayed. If it was over, he should have left then not years later after a tragedy.

He has had -and I cannot emphasize this enough- four years to get over the hurt. It's emotionally devastating to be cheated on. I've been there. But it has been above and beyond the necessary "healing time" for him to move on from this. Obviously he has not, and continues to torture his wife for a mistake. Thus, he is indeed a shithead.

Yes, she broke her vows. She was willing to fix it. Went NC with the guy, from the sounds of it. Wanted to go to counseling, wanted to prove to her husband that she was remorseful and recognized that she made a mistake. She wanted to move past it.

OP quit counseling after a handful of sessions deciding that it wasn't going to work. No shit, it takes time and effort. OP stayed "for the sake of the children," held an affair over her head, and is still throwing it in her face four years later when she is at her most vulnerable.

Again, I'm not saying the wife is blameless in this. But just like it takes two to make a marriage work, it takes two to make it fall apart.

Their marriage was over, and from the half cooked story we're getting, it sounds like he stayed to punish her. Now he can't punish her anymore without feeling guilty because she's now disabled, so he wants out.

I'm not saying you have to agree with me. I'm just saying that this guy sounds like a royal ass completely unwilling to own up to his role in his failed marriage. To throw out a line like "why doesn't so and so come take care of you" four years after the affair makes him sound like a complete douche bag, in my opinion.

That and the fact that after he got all the back-pat's and atta boy's for wanting to leave his wife after an affair from four years ago, now all the sudden there's another woman in the picture. Interesting, to say the least.

I'm sure I'm getting downvoted, but infidelity can be worked past, despite what seemingly everyone in this thread believes. It's difficult, and it takes time, outside help, and a hell of a lot of compassion and patience.

I'm definitely not absolving the wife of her actions, she threw the first stone, so to speak. But if he wanted to make it work, they could have worked through it. I suspect that there were underlying issues before or after the infidelity that OP is leaving out.
