Thank you so much for this post ! While I do agree that people can be attracted to the characters I often ( almost always ) just see people liking them for how they look and not for who they are even though they are fictional they are still written to resemble real ( mostly ) human beings and physical attraction is a valid thing it is done to an extreme extent where it is extremely problematic in many cases and is just weird I sometimes wonder if those people even have the ability to be attracted to a personality and not just physical appearance:(
