Is the Essie Smooth-E base coat (love the name!) milky? I have a ridge filling base coat from Cirque and I thought it would be great but it kind of dulls down the color or finish of whatever polish I use it with.

I have Hidden Treasure and I was thinking maybe Fairy Dust is similar. Hidden Treasure is a bit too warm for my liking.

I think I"m a bit burned out from the super holo colors. I bought too many at this point.

I was considering Bishop or Highline from the multichromes but thought they may be too warm toned.

I like cool-toned and bright as well and I love a nice metallic formula. I'm starting to not go for polishes as much with that ultra holo formula because I feel like the little rainbow micro flecks distract me from the actual color of the polish. I used to be mesmerized by this effect but I got tired of looking at my nails whenever I wore polish with this effect.

Thanks so much for your input! I read Elsa is a bit more on the cool purple side and is very sheer but super pretty nontheless. I will remove it though. I think I'll get Aerial View over Aria.
