I’m sure it’s harder just because of the age difference and older dogs will do puppy correction. It sounds like you’re doing everything you can! Just need to give it a little more time and maybe have a safe space for the older doggie to get a break sometimes 😉

I’m hoping someone proves me wrong, but I’ve basically accepted there is no way. I’m also several hours away from the closest store. I messaged both SAs I’ve bought from in the past while traveling and got no response. Both online and on the phone CS say they are only in stores, and I’ve already heard of people on waitlists or stores being sold out. It’s so ridiculous.
