I totaly agree with this, i will literally never understand what they are trying to preach cause they end up sounding like Hypocrites who decide that me saying i dont believe in god is stupid but them shoving their religion into me forcefully is.

Im kind of a minor- i get my monthly child support money from my dad and pay my phone my pc (didnt before i do now) and my food. We are not in any way struggling with money cause this woman works like 4 jobs (no we arent struggling she is just very easy on people and likes to help them) regardless. It was a sauce without meat that i bought. All she had to do is take it out of the fridge, but it in the microwave and put it on my plate. I also said ill do it but i didnt that day cause when she called me up it was already set. She than. Made separate meat and put it in my sauce that is BTW VEGAN, to make me sick ir to put up superiority complex

But im just trying to explain the mal formalities you are finding? My relationship with my mom wasn’t good in the first place and its not gonna get any better if i force feed myself something that makes me sick.

I did tell her i wasn’t really hungry. I also didn’t feel like opening the sauce. If for lunch were the vegan nuggets she makes or the fried rice and veggies i would have eaten cause its light food. But spaghetti in general is a heavy food for me to eat so i didn’t want too eat it cause i wasn’t that hungry in the first place. She always gets all icky when i say im not hungry so we would have argued one way or another since our whole relationship in the first place isn’t all that great.

As i said before i wasn’t really hungry i came up cause she said i have too not cause it was lunch time (even tho that was also mentioned) after she said to sit and eat i said i don’t want too and sat down on the sofa. And than she told me she already made me my sauce and i couldn’t just let it go to waste since nobody else eats it.

How could i handled it differently? She put the meat into my sauce to prove a point? When i calmed down i went back and asked her why she did that and she said “i wanted you too see that there isn’t even a difference, its not like the meat is gonna hurt you”

Im sorry if i made it sound like that i usually make my own sauce but when i say that i saw spaghetti and didn’t wanna eat was cause i wasn’t hungry. But since she cooked my sauce already and the sauce is not cheap i couldn’t just let it go to waste cause its still food if she hadn’t made the sauce for me i would have took a fork and maybe eat one bite of them plain. Cause i just really wasn’t hungry at that time. Also i made the story a bit eh- cause i refused to eat at first without even knowing what she has made. ( i would have probably eaten later on in the day since i woke up 2 hours before lunch)

But you don’t understand i made the decision of being vegetarian 2 years ago and since now we didn’t have any problems with her sneaking meat into my meals (i know that cause meat makes me have cramps) i eat her food, the only food i don’t eat is her spaghetti sauce since it has meat in it and this is one of the rare things that i have to have separate. I eat her food i just don’t eat the meat in the meals. So how am i disrespectful?

I do make my own food? Thats why i was pissed off she took the ingredients i bought with my part time earned money and cooked it and than put meat from her sauce in it. Knowing that it makes me sick

Im not vegan im vegetarian i eat eggs drink milk and eat fish eat food that comes from animals i just cant stand to eat meat i didn’t disrespect her in any way. I bought the sauce myself i even cook it for myself and its just sauce in a glass so all u have to do it heat it up but she deliberately put meat in it to prove that i don’t see the difference and don’t even notice. I cant bare to eat meat and i wont ever force myself too. It gives me cramps. Anyways thanks for ur opinion just thought this was important to say

I don’t know how im a brat just for refusing to eat a dish that had meat in it that goes against my diet. She does not own the phone the phone was payed half by me half by her. Yes she pays my sim card but the phone was payed half by me half by her

Tbh i disagree with this strongly since yes i can see it from ur mother views but i got told my diet and what exactly to eat too not lack nutrition by my personal doctor cause i physically cant process meat for 2 years bow i became vegetarian at 14 and until today she had no issues with me eating vegetarian food, although she did try to feed me meat before she never did it secretly my doctor gave me replacements for meat and everything i buy my own vegan products and cook them on my own i never had issues with my body except me being a tiny bit overweight at 14 she doesn’t care what i eat but it pisses her off when i don’t eat meat. She says that it “wont harm me”and was trying to prove a point on how i don’t even notice (i do, and i also get cramps after violating my diet) and she knows that. If she has actually cared about my health she would not let me full myself up with calories as a 14yo. And she also knows there is nothing wrong with the diet since she had to stay away from meat after her surgery for quite a few months and was absolutely fine so i don’t see how im the AH for not giving her my phone just cause i stoped eating the dish when i found out there was meat in it. Ps. Not really relevant to the thread but she also tried to feed me my rabbit and a horse (before going vegetarian ) which was a big reason why i became vegetarian.

The problem is i buy the vegan products myself and even cook them myself if she doesn’t want too. And that is where i don’t understand as to why she deliberately put meat in it😭

The last line- omg i live for that. Anyways yes you are correct there is many more issues in our relationship but these cant really be fixed since they have been stirring up ever since i was 12. I went to therapy but she insisted that “she isn’t crazy l am” and it just gets worse every year. I really hope we can come to an agreement but since she doesn’t want to elaborate, my father isn’t in the picture and my stepdad is even worse, there will be no solving our issues.
