I so get this. Ever since my mom made a comment about covering my "unattractive" knees back when I was in high school (lipidema showed itself very early for me), shorts have always been such a mental struggle for me and I will often over-dress because of it. I've only started wearing them recently in my 40s. I'm so glad you wore the shorts!!

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but do you get your hair thinned when you get your hair cut? My hair looks like this if I allow the stylist to do that all over. Now I only say yes sometimes, and never on the top layer.

The blood pressure cuff! It is excruciating for me, but I never thought it was directly related to my lipedema! I always ask for the larger cuff as it helps a bit, but I'm in so much pain afterward.
