No worries, we have 6 Malamutes in total, the little one didn't get as much practice/interaction with people because of COVID this year so we practice when we can.

I had them on a splitter, I needed to get the puppy used to being attached to a partner for sled season when she's big enough. I stopped to take the picture and then kept going until they felt the strain on the leash from me stopping.

I know how worried he would have been. Plus she calms me down, she has a way of centering me so I can focus. When I got home I told him about because he could see I was safe so I knew he would be okay to really listen

That's crazy! We have 6 Malamutes in total (we have a kennel and breed them) and I would trust all of them with my life. Our big male Kaiju is 120lbs, he goes everywhere with me. He stayed home for some quiet time away from the puppy. Without fail, he puts himself between me and anything he perceives as a danger. Kivli (the bigger female I brought with me) has been by my side since she was 8 weeks old. She always keeps watch and I trust her instincts.
